MD mil PKU-2. An instant dry medical food with a neutral flavour designed for phenylketonuria patients aged between the ages of 4 and 8. It contains a balance of essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals. The low osmolarity of the product means that it has a high tolerance factor among patients.

DESCRIPTION: MD mil PKU-2 is formulated to conceal the taste of amino acids, maintain the controllable level of phenylalanine, and improve the physical and psychomotor development of children with phenylketonuria. MD mil PKU-2 is enriched with L-carnitine, taurine, inositol and choline (acting at the cellular level). It also contains glutamine and arginine (with an immunomodulatory effect).

INGREDIENTS: Amino acids (L-leucine, L-tyrosine, L-glutamine, L-aspartic acid, L-proline, L-lysine, L-valine, L-arginine, L-glutamic acid, L-isoleucine, L-threonine, L-serine, L-glycine, L-alanine, L-histidine, L-cysteine, L-tryptophan, L-methionine), Sucrose, Maltodextrin, Hydrolyzed cornstarch, Vegetable oil (palm, coconut, sunflower and rapeseed), Minerals, Citric acid esters of mono - and diglycerides of fatty acids, Vitamins, Soy lecithin, Choline, Inositol, Taurine, and L-carnitine.

MD mil PKU-0 is a hypoallergenic alternative to breast milk. Daily dosage is strictly individual and prescribed by the doctor based on factors such as the age, body weight and physical development of a particular child. MD mil PKU-0 is enriched with:

* linoleic (ω — 6) and α–linolenic (ω – 3) fatty acids that influence the development of baby’s brain structure and the child’s intellectual abilities;

* tyrosine: a conditionally essential amino acid in phenylketonuria;

* inositol: acts as a growth factor;

* taurine: the amino acid vital for cardiovascular development and function, as well as the formation and development of skeletal muscle, the central nervous system and the retina;

* selenium: contributes to a complete formation of the antioxidant system, bone and cartilage tissues as well as muscle structures of the heart;

* iodine: provides additional stimulation for the child's intellectual development;

* glutamine and arginine: both have an immunomodulatory effect;

* L-carnitine: involved in energy metabolism and transport of fatty acids.

Important: The amount of MD mil PKU-2 formula and the dilution ratio should only be prescribed by a doctor. The recommended daily dose of MD mil PKU-2 depends on the patient's condition, age, body weight and individual protein requirements. The amount of the formula is calculated based on the normal parameters of growth and development of a patient.

1. Boil fresh drinking water. Allow it to cool to 40º C;

2. The level spoonful of dry powder contains 3.6 g of the product. Do not press the powder;

3. Prepare a rich blend by adding a small amount of water to the powder. The recommended dilution of 36 g of MD mil PKU-2 per 250 ml of water;

4. The daily dose of the product should be divided into 3–4 intakes during the day;

5. The dilution method for MD mil PKU-2 is specified in the table on the can;

6. Fruit and vegetable juices and other drinks recommended by the doctor may be used for the dilution.
