MD mil PKU-3 has a high protein content (69.1 g of protein per 100 g of dry product). This means that a smaller amount of mixture is required than PKU 1, 2 and 3. It also has excellent tolerance levels among patients as a result of its low osmolarity. MD mil PKU-3 is fat-free and has a low carbohydrate content, allowing the patient to diversify their diet via a broader range of conventional food products.

MD mil PKU-3 should only be used under medical supervision.

PKU-3 contains a balanced mixture of interchangeable and essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and trace elements.

INGREDIENTS: Amino acids (L-leucine, L-tyrosine, L-aspartic acid, L-glutamine, L-proline, L-lysine, L-valine, L-arginine, L-glutamic acid, L-isoleucine, L-threonine, L-serine, L-glycine, L-alanine, L-cysteine, L-methionine, L-histidine, L-tryptophan, potassium L-aspartate), Minerals (Calcium phosphate, Calcium citrate, Magnesium sulphate, Ferrous sulphate, Zinc sulphate, Copper sulphate, Potassium iodide, Sodium selenite), Maltodextrine, vitamins (C, E, Niacin, Calcium Cantothenate, Folic acid, Biotin, D, Thiamine hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, Cyanocobalamin, Phytomenadione).

MD mil PKU-0 is a hypoallergenic alternative to breast milk. Daily dosage is strictly individual and prescribed by the doctor based on factors such as the age, body weight and physical development of a particular child. MD mil PKU-0 is enriched with:

* tyrosine: a conditionally essential amino acid in phenylketonuria;

* selenium: contributes to a complete formation of the antioxidant system, bone and cartilage tissues as well as muscle structures of the heart;

* iodine: provides additional stimulation for the child's intellectual development;

* glutamine and arginine: both have an immunomodulatory effect;

* L-carnitine: involved in energy metabolism and transport of fatty acids.

Important: The amount of formula to be taken and its dilution ratio should always be prescribed by a doctor. PKU 3 should be taken between 3 to 4 times a day. Fruit, vegetable juices and other drinks recommended by the doctor may be used to dilute the mixture.

Preparing PKU 3:

1. Boil a pan of water and allow it to cool to 40º C;

2. A level spoonful of dry powder contains 5.1 g of the product. Do not press the powder down when measuring the required dosage;

3. Prepare the mixture by adding a small amount of water to the powder. Gradually add water, applying a ratio of 36 g of MD mil PKU-3 per 500 ml of water.
